Arris Stone
Turning a complicated countertop quote into a visual decision.
The project
Product strategy · UX design · Interface design · Development
Countertop quoting usually asks customers and fabricators to translate measurements, materials, edges, cutouts, and fabrication details across disconnected conversations.
Construct the quote like the countertop.
Arris brings the drawing, product choices, pricing, and customer document into one working surface so each decision is visible in context.
The problem
Descriptions alone leave too much room for uncertainty.
Conventional estimates separate the shape being fabricated from the selections that affect its price. Arris begins with the measured space and lets the quote develop visually.
01 / Measure
Translate the measured space into something everyone can see.
The drawing makes shape, scale, cutouts, and adjacency visible before material is committed.
The working surface
Customers can see the countertop take shape as choices are made.
The interface combines countertop geometry with material, edge, cutout, and fabrication selections. Pricing updates alongside the drawing so the effect of each choice is easier to understand.
- Measured countertop drawing
- Material and edge selections
- Cutout and fabrication details
- Immediate pricing feedback

The handoff
One visual record carries the decision forward.
The completed quote becomes a professional customer document while preserving the information needed for later production planning. Customer-facing choices remain clear without exposing unnecessary fabrication complexity.
